Moracco Supper Club Throwback Ceramic Mug
The Moracco Supper Club Throwback Ceramic Mug features a design created exclusively for Dubuque Clothing Co., printed with high-quality, soft inks on a durable ceramic mug built to last.
The Moracco outlasted tragedy to become a Dubuque institution. Founder John A. Jungwirth Jr. died in a 1948 plane crash, and a fire leveled the building in 1950, but new owners Hazel and Bert Hillary bought the rebuilt club in 1966 and kept it running for decades. Their daughter Jeanne and her husband Garry Heiar took over as partners in 1976, and in 2006 the Iowa Restaurant Association named the Heiars Restaurateurs of the Year - a fitting honor for a supper club that simply refused to go away.
